Data will not be affected in any way by the 2.0 update.

Is the 2.0 update automatic?

Yes, you’ll get an email notification directing you to login to the Hammer 2.0 webpage.

Is it easy to deploy?

The Hammer is exceptionally easy to deploy. Most users do not even have to work with IT. It can be set up in minutes – simply sign up for a subscription and upload your data. Subscriptions to The Hammer include consulting from Manta Ray Consulting to help you get started.

How safe is the data stored in The Hammer?

The Hammer follows the most up-to-date protocols for data security. Our data resides in Amazon Web Services and is fully secured. All data is encrypted in transit with TLS, and our servers are automatically inspected for vulnerabilities and deviations. Learn more about AWS security.

Can the Cost Estimation Tool be used for scheduling?

The Cost Estimation Tool facilitates the resource loading process. It allows you to put in your units, hours or dollars on the schedule of activities on your project, but it does not schedule them with your stakeholders.

Where does the Drill Down Analysis Tool data come from?

The data shown in the Drill Down Analysis Tool is pulled from standard reports in your own cost and scheduling system.

How do users know if there’s a problem in their section?

The Hammer allows users to enter custom project thresholds, which trigger alerts and notify responsible managers when an issue occurs. This empowers managers to decide when they need to be notified about an issue.

When using the cost and schedule analysis, is it best to run targeted reports or reports that use all available data?

We recommend running reports that use all available data, as The Hammer will parse all available data for you.

Does The Hammer perform consistently as a web-based platform?

Our AWS severs utilize unlimited load balancing, which automatically adds extra servers as additional users begin using the tool. No matter how many users are currently using The Hammer, our servers will add additional capacity to ensure that the platform is always available.
